In celebration of the life Matt Laffan, the 15th Laffo’s Long Lunch was held at Dolton House. This fundraiser was specifically aimed at raising money for long-term wheelie Greg Moran so as he can acquire a much needed vehicle. With Hearts in Rugby Union already pledged $40,000, the target was the extra $40k. Through the generosity of Greg’s circle of friends donations prior to the day reached $30k , leaving a target on the day of $10k. Whilst the total hasn’t been tallied as yet, I can safely say that Greg will be up to purchase his vehicle and HiRU will have some further funds to benefit our other recipients.
